Despite strong performances from (most of) ABC’s comedies and SVU, viewers made CBS their choice last night. Yesterday’s People’s Choice Awards broadcast earned its best demos and viewers since 2007.
8pm
- A new edition of I Get That a Lot (2.9/8 in 18-49) brought in 8.5 million for CBS.
- An early edition of The Middle (2.2/6) raised 7.5 million; the comedy’s second half hour (8.2 million, 2.7/7) hit season highs.
- Mercy (7.3 million, 1.7/5) sunk to a demo low.
- A Glee* repeat (1.3/4) had 3.4 million singing.
- One Tree Hill* (0.4/1) dialed up 895,000.
