Thursday Ratings: Past Life Plunges to Its Death

Wondering why Past Life was just canceled after only three episodes? Look at last night’s numbers. The program - which started with an 8.3 million debut - lost 5 million in just two weeks.

- Approximately 25.3 million (7.1/19 in 18-49) watched Wednesday’s coverage of the Vancouver Olympics.
- Survivor (11.9 million, 3.9/11) saw 2.2 million leave the island.
- Bones* (5.7 million, 1.6/4) gave up 2.4 million.
- The Deep End (4.3 million, 1.1/3) slipped by 1.4 million.
- The Vampire Diaries* (0.7/2) sucked in 1.7 million.

- Grey’s Anatomy (3.7/9 in 18-49) took 10.2 million back in time.
- The Mentalist* (1.9/5) turned in 8.8 million.
- Past Life (3.5 million, 1.1/3) shaved off 1.8 million from last week.
- Supernatural* (0.7/2) settled for 1.6 million.
10pm
- CSI* (1.7/5 in 18-49) scored 7.9 million.
- Private Practice (7.6 million, 2.8/7) fell by 1.5 million.
