Thursday Ratings: Evening Not So Grey for ABC

Things may have looked grim for the characters of Grey’s Anatomy, but the show looked alive and well last night. The program - Thursday’s top performer - had its best demo performance in 3 months and its largest audience since last fall’s premiere. The weeper gave ABC wins in both the viewers and the 18-49ers yesterday.
8pm
- Approximately 12 million saw Coach’s torch snuffed out on Survivor: Tocantins (3.7/12 in 18-49).
- Bones (2.5/8) wrapped up with 8.7 million.
- Ugly Betty (2.0/6) registered 6.8 million.
- My Name is Earl (4.8 million, 2.0/6) tied Parks and Recreation (4.2 million, 2.0/6) in the demos.
- Smallville (1.4/4) ended its season with 3.2 million.

- Grey’s Anatomy (5.8/16 in 18-49) averaged 16.4 million over two hours.
- CSI (3.4/9) roped in 14.4 million.
- Hell’s Kitchen (3.1/8) cooked up 7.4 million.
- The Office (3.5/9) entertained 6.7 million; 30 Rock (2.8/7) rallied 5.7 million.
- Supernatural (1.3/3) scored 2.8 million.
