Sunday June 27, 2010 5:04 pm

This Week on TV (6/28-7/4)

MONDAY (6/28)
  • The Bachelorette (ABC, 8pm):  “Ali takes one to a bathhouse, another to a bazaar and four others to a historic fort, where they slather themselves in olive oil and wrestle with each other to earn one-on-one time with her.” The one who enjoys it the least is the one who will win the date.
  • All Worked Up (truTV, 10pm):  “A showgirl uses her dance training in vain to avoid getting towed.” is proof showgirl experience won’t get you far.
  • Obsessed (A&E, 10pm):  Season premiere. “A woman’s need to exercise constantly leaves her little time to spend with her family.” She makes sure to wave at their avatars when she runs past them on Wii Fit.
TUESDAY (6/29)
  • Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family, 8pm):  “The girls try to put an end to ‘A’ by blocking unknown users in their e-mails and texts.” Unfortunately, Facebook’s privacy controls still have them confused.
  • Wipeout (ABC, 8pm):  “Fling Set, Trampoline Sweeper and Big Soccer Balls are among the obstacles faced.” Some call those obstacles, others call those date night.
  • Deadliest Catch (Discovery, 9pm):  “ is critically ill and is flown to Anchorage for medical care.” Already knowing how this will end doesn’t make it any easier.

WEDNESDAY (6/30)
  • Billy the Exterminator (A&E, 10pm):  “Billy hunts an alligator that’s loose at a children’s summer camp.” It’s not the first time he’s been asked to take care of an Izod sighting.
  • Real World: New Orleans (MTV, 10pm):  Season premiere. “Season 24 opens as the latest group of eight strangers moves into a posh mansion in New Orleans.” The home comes with an amazing view of the oil-painted water.
  • Toddlers & Tiaras (TLC, 10pm):  “Profiling contestants at the Miss Darling Diva Pageant in Brooklyn, N.Y., including a 6-year-old who steals the show with a Tina Turner number.” As much as I hate to admit it - she was simply the best. Better than all the rest. Better than anyone, anyone I’ve ever met.

THURSDAY (7/1)
  • River Monsters (Discovery, 9pm):  “Jeremy pursues a 700-pound freshwater stingray in the Mekong River in Thailand.” He needed help from his wingman to reel her in.
  • Boston Med (ABC, 10pm):  “A cardiothoracic resident must complete a lung transplant before he can attend his daughter’s dance recital.” The clock’s ticking for both the doctor and patient.
  • Futurama (Comedy, 10pm):  “An unflattering video of Leela makes the rounds online, thanks to Fry.” Getting a share of the revenue made her feel a bit better.

FRIDAY (7/2)
  • Friday Night Lights (NBC, 8pm):  “Eric tries to clean up a run-down park, a task that brings him into contact with shady characters.” He thought Leslie Knope and her team were pretty much useless.
  • Say Yes to the Dress (TLC, 9pm):  “Nicole, who lost 60 pounds, shops for a wedding dress with her family.” Her parents hope the smaller size will result in a smaller wedding budget.
  • Miami Medical (CBS, 10pm):  Series finale. “Deleo’s brother unexpectedly reappears.” He heard there was going to be cake at the final wrap party.

SUNDAY (7/4)
  • Behind the Music (VH1, 9pm):  “A profile of includes interviews and archival footage.” This will be the first time since 2003 anyone’s seen clips from Gigli.
  • Bridezillas (We, 9pm):  “An indecisive bride gives vague commands, frustrating her friends and family.” They’re still not sure which groom they’re supposed to bring to the wedding.
  • Expedition Great White (Nat. Geographic, 10pm):  “The crew catch a large great white and collect sperm samples that could prove Dr. Domeier’s theory on great white breeding habits.” Lesson: Great whites tend to breed more often after being released from captivity.
