This Week on TV (5/17-5/23)

(Make sure to check out TV Envy’s Programming Schedule.)

MONDAY (5/17)
  • 10 Things I Hate About You (ABC Family, 8pm):  “Joey gets a callback for a reality show!” Canceled shows call for desperate measures.
  • Romantically Challenged (ABC, 9:30pm):  “Perry takes a stay-at-home vacation, which irritates unemployed roommate Shawn so much that Shawn is willing to take a job - virtually any job.” This is what Perry would call a ‘productive vacation.’
  • The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo, 10pm):  “Sick of the Jersey-girl superdramas, Dina reaches out to a Zen master to remove all the negativity from her life.” In different parts of Jersey, problem-solving “Zen masters” go by a different title.
TUESDAY (5/18)
  • Glee (FOX, 9pm):  “Will’s high-school rival () shows up and causes trouble for the glee club.” The resulting showdown will be - wait for it - legendary.
  • V (ABC, 10pm):  Season finale. “Erica goes on the offensive by securing a dinner invitation for her and Tyler on the mothership.” They RSVPed under the names “Tareq and Michaele Salahi.”
  • Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (TV Guide, 10pm):  “The eight remaining ladies have a pool party, then play Seven Minutes in Heaven. When it’s over, one contestant is eliminated and one wins a slumber party with Paris.” I just want to clarify - she’s looking for someone to be her best friend right?

WEDNESDAY (5/19)
  • I Get That a Lot (CBS, 8pm):  “Unsuspecting people are tricked by celebrities who have taken ordinary jobs. Celebs in on the joke include running the counter at a fast-food restaurant.” The confused customers were prompted to “Make It…Your Way.”
  • Worst-Case Scenario (Discovery, 10pm):  “What to do when car brakes fail.” The commercial-free episode will be sponsored by Toyota.
  • Clean House: Search for the Messiest Home in the Country (Style, 10pm):  “A woman seeks to shed weight while getting rid of clutter from her home.” The conveyor belt on her treadmill will help achieve both goals.

THURSDAY (5/20)
  • Community (NBC, 8pm):  “In the Season 1 finale, Britta and Professor Slater vie for Jeff’s affections.” And who could blame them? Did you see him in that wife beater?
  • CSI (CBS, 9pm):  “The 10th-season finale concludes with the CSIs attempting to capture the elusive serial killer Dr. Jekyll.” He’s very good at Hyde-ing.
  • The Office (NBC, 9pm):  “In the Season 6 finale, the heat is on when the media discover that Sabre’s printers catch on fire. When Sabre CEO Jo Bennett (Kathy Bates) arrives to unmask the whistleblower, the staffers point accusatory fingers at Andy, who passionately denies that he’s the leak.” The guilty party should expect a bit of Misery.

FRIDAY (5/21)
  • Say Yes to the Dress (TLC, 9pm):  “Natasha brings her mother along to her appointment, hoping it will help them reconnect.” Nothing facilitates bonding like an exchange of hugs…or money.
  • Hoarding: Buried Alive (Disc. Health, 9pm):  “A 55-yeard-old moves back in with his mother, a fellow hoarder.” She conveniently kept all of his belongings in his room as he left them.
  • Miami Medical (CBS, 10pm):  “The first season concludes with an alligator attack on a golf course that leaves a golf prodigy and the lives of three college friends in danger.” And we thought a Tiger on the greens was exciting.

SUNDAY (5/23)
  • Brooks & Dunn (CBS, 8pm):  “A tribute concert in Las Vegas honoring country duo Brooks & Dunn, who are disbanding after 20 years.” Their careers will come to a tragic end during the series finale of Law & Order.
  • Lost (ABC, 9pm):  “The series finale.” Maybe if I don’t acknowledge it, it won’t…
  • Kendra (E!, 10pm):  “Kendra struggles with her appearance now that she’s a mom.” Watching home videos she made when she was just 18 made her feel a bit better.
