MONDAY (2/22)
- Life Unexpected (CW, 9pm): “Lux does her best to get Jones to drop the charges against Bug.” Yes, he may be creepy and ugly—but calling him dirty is simply unfair.
- Damages (FX, 10pm): “A Hewes & Shayes job candidate has questions for Ellen about Patty.” Question #1: What are the signs you’ll either be fired…or killed?
- Men of a Certain Age (TNT, 10pm): Season finale. “Owen sees a glimmer of hope when he lands work at a rival dealership.” Season 2 will see Owen crawling back when his Toyota job abruptly ends.
- Dirty Jobs (Discovery, 9pm): “With a hiatus looming, Mike tries to secure employment for the Dirty Jobs crew and reflects on their contributions.” Behind every Dirty Jobs host is a team doing all the dirty work.
- Lost (ABC, 9pm): “Hurley tries to persuade Jack to accompany him on an unspecificed mission.” Hurley promised Jack he would get an answer by the end of this season.
- The Michael Vick Project (BET, 10pm): “Vick speaks out against dogfighting and returns to the site of the Bad Newz Kennels in Virginia.” An electric shock collar keeps Michael from actual contact with the animals.
WEDNESDAY (2/24)
- American Idol (FOX, 8pm): “The semifinal round advances with the Top 12 male singers taking to the stage.” The same process will later be used to pick Simon Cowell‘s replacement.
- Being Erica (SOAPnet, 10pm): “A multitude of secrets causes problems for Erica.” As Ms. Kane would say: “That’s the price of being Erica.”
- Nip/Tuck (FX, 10pm): “Julia visits Sean and Christian to share life-changing news—-and rejects the advances of both.” If she really didn’t want the attention, she could have just called.
THURSDAY (2/25)
- Police Women of Maricopa County (TLC, 9pm): Season premiere. “The series moves to Maricopa County, AZ. In the opener, one female deputy takes part in a high-speed chase involving a naked man.” Being pursued by women was a daily occurrence for the nude individual.
- The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo, 10pm): “Lynne reassess her marriage.” If her husband keeps insisting she save for the mortgage, she’s going to have to find herself a new pushover.
- America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV, 10pm): “The eight remaining crews choreograph routines inspired by some of the hottest music videos.” Step 1: Find a channel that still shows these things called “music videos.”
FRIDAY (2/26)
- The NAACP Image Awards (FOX, 8pm): “The 41st annual event honors the contributions of people of color to the arts. Nominees include Avatar‘s Zoe Saldana.” In an effort to celebrate “all people of color,” the NAACP decided to acknowledge blue candidates for the very first time.
- Man Cave (DIY, 9pm): “A lifetime comic-book collector seeks to bring his collection out from storage in his parents’ basement and display them in a new comic-book-themed man cave.” The change of address card read: “Parents’ attic.”
- What Not to Wear (TLC, 9pm): “The hosts make over an alternative model who loves to pair tutus with combat boots.” When dressed with a hoodie from Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn clothing line, the model’s look quickly transformed into has-been singer chic.
SUNDAY (2/28)
- Undercover Boss (CBS, 9pm): “White Castle co-owner Dave Rife works undercover at his burger restaurants to gain insight into his family-owned business.” Neil Patrick Harris will make a cameo along with Harold and Kumar.
- Desperate Housewives (ABC, 9pm): “When Celia catches chicken pox, Gaby (who never had it) must stay away from her, so she stays with Bob and Lee—-and experiences the single life again.” Oh, to be young and in love with JC Chasez again.
- The Marriage Ref (NBC, 10:30pm): Series premiere. “Panelists Jerry Seinfeld, Alec Baldwin and Kelly Ripa weigh in on couples marital grievances before host Tom Papa makes the call deciding which parties are the winners of the tiffs.” One of these marriage experts just doesn’t belong here.
