This Week on TV (11/24-11/30)

Michael Chiklis in The Shield

(You can view TV Envy’s Television Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (11/24)
  • Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm):  After ten weeks, it all ends tonight. Sadly, I can’t even remember the names of the first two eliminated.
  • Samantha Who? (ABC, 9:30):  “Sam invites boyfriend Owen (James Tupper) for dinner to meet her parents, but Owen and Howard don’t hit it off.” Seems Howard doesn’t approve of his relationship with Anne Heche either.
  • Valkyrie: The Plot to Kill Hitler (History, 10pm):  “Recalling Operation Valkyrie, a failed plot devised by German officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler.” By choosing this documentary over the version, you’ll be able to save a few more bucks for Christmas.
  • The Hills (MTV, 10pm):  “Audrina confronts Lauren and Justin after rumors circulate that the two hooked up.” By “confront,” we mean Audrina has them refer to the television interviews she’s conducted on the topic.
TUESDAY (11/25)
  • House (FOX, 8pm):  “A gun-wielding patient takes , Thirteen and several other patients hostage in Cuddy’s waiting room and demands that House diagnose and treat them.” Thankfully, his demands are at least in the realm of possibility.
  • The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion (Bravo, 9pm):  If you thought the fights between Kim and NeNe were juicy, wait until Lisa gets thrown into the mix.
  • The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo, 10pm):  Season 4 premiere.  “Young housewife Gretchen enters the scene and her arrival is met with catty remarks from Vicki.” Gretchen shouldn’t take it personally. Catty comments are considered terms of endearment.
  • The Shield (FX, 10pm):  Series finale. How would you like this show to wrap up? I’d personally like to see Tavon serve a little payback to Shane and Mara.
WEDNESDAY (11/26)
  • Rosie Live (NBC, 8pm):  “Rosie O’Donnell hosts this reinvention of the traditional variety hour featuring appearances from Liza Minnelli, Ne-Yo, Alanis Morissette, , Alec Baldwin and Jane Krakowski.” I kinda liked it when O’Donnell limited herself to daytime programming.
  • Criminal Minds (CBS, 9pm):  “Prentiss and Todd go undercover to find a serial killer who uses his fine-tuned pickup skills to ensnare women.” The entire cast of The Pick-Up Artist is included in the initial lineup.
  • Clean House (Style, 10pm):  “A couple who met on Love Connection receive help with their cluttered home.” Is there anything these two can do on their own?
  • CSI: NY (CBS, 10pm):  “Lisa Lindsay tells Danny she’s pregnant.” She didn’t want him to think those extra pounds were just a result of the holidays.
THURSDAY (11/27)
  • Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (ABC, 8pm):  “Charlie is the hapless host and Snoopy is in the kitchen dishing up ice cream, popcorn and toast.” Wow - and I thought Bolt was a remarkable dog.
  • Survivor: Gabon (CBS, 8pm):  “Highlights from the game thus far, including previously unaired footage.” When you’re gorging on turkey this holiday, think of the silly contestants in Africa who purposely chose to starve themselves.
  • Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (VH1, 10pm):  Nothing says Thanksgiving like a surprise visit from .
FRIDAY (11/28)
  • Everybody Hates Chris (CW, 8pm):  “Julius tries to improve his marriage by watching , but Rochelle misreads his new attitude and assumes he is having an affair.” Should she really look a gift horse in the mouth?
  • The Game (CW, 8:30pm):  “Tasha starts dating other men because she believes her relationship with Rick Fox has no future.” It’s hard seeing yourself as the woman who came after Vanessa Williams.
  • Monk (USA, 9pm):  “At Natalie’s insistence, Monk investigates a death after three homeless men ask for his help during the holidays.” Although they really wanted money, they agreed to settle on an arrest instead.
  • Psych (USA, 10pm):  “Shawn and Gus help free a mall Santa from jail, only to realize they’ve been conned by clients plotting a big score.” Anyone else in the mood to watch Bad Santa right now?
SUNDAY (11/30)
  • 42 Ways to Kill Hitler (National Geographic, 9pm):  “A look at recently declassified documents detailing dozens of failed assassination attempts of Adolf Hitler.” Why is a Paul Simon tune coming to mind right now?
  • Rock of Love Charm School with Sharon Osbourne (VH1, 9pm):  “Tensions are high as the final six contestants give on-stage performances.” Would these performances happen to require Lucite heels?
  • Brothers & Sisters (ABC, 10pm):  “Tommy is floored by Holly’s decision to give Rebecca an important job at the winery without his approval.” He should know quite well how nepotism works by now.
  • Britney Spears: For the Record (MTV, 10pm):  “A look at the pop singer as she prepares for the release of her sixth studio album.” Are we really only on the sixth album? What the heck has she been doing with her life in between?
