Sunday Ratings: Close Game Scores Touchdown for FOX
The gridiron action between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings was just about the only thing people were dialing in to watch last night. (Repeats offered by the competitors helped paved the way.)
Yesterday’s tight game brought in a whopping 57.9 million viewers, a record for any NFC Championship Game ever held on FOX.
The Saints’ defeat over Brett Favre - which pulled in a 21.3 rating with the 18-49s - was also the most-watched event of the season.
