The good folks at Vote for the Worst are digging up all the spoilers and inside information they can get to give viewers a preview of the names and voices we’ll hear during the first few weeks of American Idol 9 auditions.

Siobhan Magnus currently sings for a band named Lunar Valve and, according to Vote for the Worst, shaved her head for her American Idol 9 audition. Artheria La’Bry, commonly known as “Theri,” describes herself on her Facebook as an “ex-music major @ Armstrong Atlantic,” and “super duper cuter than YOU.” She’s addicted to “SHRIMP and EYELINER” and sounds incredibly fun, if profiles are to be believed.

Alex Nester, featured in the video above, might have trouble toeing the line between self-indulgent and being a great performer, but right now there’s no telling if we’ll be seeing enough of her to watch her transform into a star.

Derek Klena is no stranger to winning singing contests, as he won a competition by crooning the ditty featured in this video. But does his singing warrant this victory?

Melissa Bitanga is young, cute and an apparent fan of Miley Cyrus (though it does look like she’s reading the words very carefully off-camera throughout her video). She’s just the type Idol usually pushes at the public in a big way.

Aaron Kelly is perhaps the most promising of this crop of potential contenders, offering a charming blend of country twang and a love of the classics. There’s just something about those show tunes.
