Sandra Bullock Heading to MTV Movie Awards
Now that Jesse James has had a chance to speak on television, it’s time for Sandra Bullock to take back her spotlight. MTV just confirmed that the Oscar winner will be making an appearance at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
The actress, who was already nominated for Best Female Performance (The Blind Side) and Best Comedic Performance (The Proposal) and Best Kiss (The Proposal), will be on hand to accept at least one prize: the Generation Award.

MTV’s general manager said the prize is being bestowed on Bullock because she is “one of those rare individuals who is adored by our audience as both an actress and a role model.” Stephen Friedman added: “Recognizing her remarkable talent, amazing range of films and her visceral connection to our audience around the globe, we are honored to present her with our MTV Generation Award.”
Although Sandra is (understandably) not expected to do any media interviews at the event, I suspect the actress who gladly accepted her Razzie earlier this year will once again bring her usual charm and humor to the table. But even if she doesn’t, I’m sure everyone watching will let her know what it feels like when someone has her back
The 2010 MTV Movie Awards airs Sunday, June 6, at 9 p.m. ET.
