ABC Family’s much-anticipated winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars debuted Monday night, and fans are still mystified -- though much relieved.

Hannah (Ashley Benson) isn’t dead after all, and she revealed the identify of “A” near the top of the episode: Noel Kahn (Brant Daughtery). But … is Hannah correct? It was definitely Noel who wrote “I See You” on the rear windshield of Ezra Fitz’s (Ian Harding's) car -- he admitted as much to Aria (Lucy Hale). And that still doesn’t necessarily mean he’s "A."

In fact, it's likely he isn’t. Whomever "A" is, they managed to leave a message for Hannah right on her cast (she has a broken leg, a broken ankle, mysterious spleen problems and who knows what else). When Noel went to see Hannah, he never made it past the door of her private room. Other people who were definitely in the room: Mona (Janel Parrish), Sean (Chuck Hittinger) and the other "Pretty Little Liars" (Aria, Spencer, Emily).

Meanwhile, Hannah’s mom Ashley (Laura Leighton) is going to use her stolen money to address their current financial troubles. So far, it looks like she’s committed the perfect crime -- meaning, we haven’t seen her get in trouble yet. Lucas (Brendan Robinson) still has feelings for Hannah, who tried to explain to him nicely that she’d rather they remain friends.

And the big bombshell: Spencer’s sister Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) eloped with Ian (Ryan Merriman). "A" cut down the tree discovered by Spencer (Troian Bellisario) in the woods, prompting a theory that perhaps "A" is not Alison’s killer. Maybe there are two people creating all the mysterious drama?

And the bigger bombshell: Emily (Shay Mitchell) revealed to her father that she’s gay. This looks like the making of a really great storyline.

Two “A” suspects were taken off the list at the end of the episode: Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) and Ian are not A. Toby was with the police during Hannah’s accident, and Ian was with Melissa.
