Paris Hilton’s BFF Chase Renewed
“This season I made it like a sorority, the Paris sorority,” said Paris Hilton of the second season of her MTV show, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, which premieres tomorrow. Though the heiress found a friend in Season 1 winner Brittany Flinkinger, and subsequently in the UK version of the show, she’s apparently still on the hunt.
Lil’ Kim, Kathy Griffin and a handful of Paris Hilton’s celebrity pals will make guest appearances on the show, which will renew her quest to find a pal among a dozen or more male and female contenders. Last season, Paris’s quest began with makeovers, challenges and very quick eliminations.

“I’m stricter,” Paris says of this new season. “I just didn’t want to be tricked again,” she said in a recent interview with E! Online. “I think it’s easy for people to fake it and pretend.”
“It’s about sisterhood, and they have to follow certain rules. In real life, you know, I’m not that superficial.”
Hilton isn’t just looking for any old friend - she’s got a very specific idea about what she wants. “I’m looking for someone who doesn’t want to be in the entertainment industry. I think when someone wants that, they are just kind of using you to, like, make themselves have a career.”
In her real life, Paris says that current boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is her true BFF. Last season, she was accompanied on the show a few times by Benji Madden, her then-boyfriend and, one supposes, BFF. In the world of an heiress, friends are like last season’s fashions - when the weather changes, it’s time to move on to the new trends.
Hilton’s favorite challenge, which apparently takes place during a stint in Las Vegas, was the stripper pole contest. “I have a stripper pole in my house.”
