NBC Revamping The Munsters
UPDATE: Find out what one former Munster has to say about the remake.
The minute we heard CBS was planning to redo Hawaii Five-0, we should have seen this coming. Yes, you guessed it: NBC is going to bring back The Munsters.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the network is envisioning a “Modern Family meets True Blood” type of series. (I’ll let you figure that one out.)
The (possible) good news? NBC has smartly recruited Bryan Fuller—the creator of Pushing Daisies—to help retool the 1960s comedy about a family of monsters. At this point, only a pilot has been ordered.
Word has it even Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth) is even interested in doing something behind the scenes.
So what do you think of this project? Could it be enough to get NBC out of fourth place?
