MTV to Host Presidential Bash
MTV has announced plans for its “Be the Change Inaugural Ball,” a bash for President-elect Barack Obama. The event will take place in the Ronald Reagan Building in D.C. on January 20. Live television coverage will give everyone access to the party. MTV will also feature all the revelry via Internet.
Celebrities, politicians and recording artists will decorate the event, meant to celebrate Obama’s swearing in to office. MTV will also choose hundreds of partygoers to give the cameras plenty of great shots.
It is expected that more than one million will arrive in Washington to celebrate the event, and to participate in several inaugural balls being planned throughout the city.
Well, it seems like it has definitely divided the Democratic party, which is good or bad depending what side of the political aisle you are on... but yes this nomination has gone on way too long, and while it was exciting for politics in general, it is time to move onto the general election. Clinton needs to drop out immediately and back Obama if the Democrats want to win in the fall (which they should because of the toxic environment for Republicans these days...)
Well i am sure Hillary will go an support Obama against the Republicans. They need unity now since it is a very very important election.
