Monday Ratings: Lie to Me an Improvement Over Lone Star

FOX’s decision to quickly replace Lone Star with veteran Lie to Me was validated in the ratings last night. Unfortunately, the move really didn’t make a difference in the overall rankings. ABC was still the winner in both the viewers and demos thanks to reality hit Dancing with the Stars.
8pm
- Dancing with the Stars (20.1 million, 4.3/11 in 18-49) slipped by 1.2 million.
- House (10.5 million, 3.9/11) added on 300,000.
- How I Met Your Mother (8.6 million, 3.4/10) lost 500,000; Rules of Engagement (8.5 million, 3.0/8) grew by 300,000.
- Chuck (5.4 million, 1.9/5) remained steady.
- 90210 (1.9 million, 1.0/3) was down a tick.

- Two and a Half Men (14.2 million, 4.5/11 in 18-49) raised another 300,000; Mike & Molly (12.3 million, 3.8/9) tacked on 1.2 million more.
- The Event (7.5 million, 2.4/6) gave up 1.6 million.
- Lie to Me (6 million, 2.2/5) did 2.8 million better than Lone Star last week.
- Gossip Girl (2.1 million, 1.1/3) grew by 300,000.
10pm
- Hawaii Five-0 (12 million, 3.5/9 in 18-49) fell by 700,000.
- Castle (11.9 million, 3.0/8) picked up 800,000.
- Chase (5.8 million, 1.7/5) shrunk by 500,000.
