This is probably the last thing Paula Abdul wants to hear right now.

Although Abdul is still not officially on board for the ninth season of American Idol, her former roommate/possible replacement/female frenemy is. Both People and E! Online are now reporting that Kara DioGuardi will remain at the judges’ table alongside Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson.

As of just a week ago, Paula’s manager was reportedly still waiting for any offer - any offer - to come from the show’s producers.

Even though fans haven’t exactly been receptive to Kara’s participation, will her presence mean less negotiating money for Abdul? I’m sure we’ll know soon enough.
