The CW’s new fall season looked very promising - at first. After some seriously low ratings, the network decided to make a few big changes. The popular Internet site has five episodes of the series, three of which never made it to air, and the numbers are starting to become impressive. “I want this to be the first show ever that gets more viewers on the Web than it did on terrestrial television,” producer Ashton Kutcher stated when he put the series online. He aimed for half a million viewers - and he got it. TBL is still climbing, in fact. The show will run on YouTube for six months, so watch now to see what all the fuss is about.
With renewed popularity and a fan following all its own, The Beautiful Life could be re-born on TV or the Internet in the near future. It wouldn’t be the first time the fans managed to bring back a canceled series - it happened with the original Star Trek (and just look how that turned out).
