Gwyneth Paltrow in Talks for Glee Appearances
Having heard Gwyneth Paltrow perform in the trailer for Country Strong, it’s hard to deny the actress can sing—so what else should we expect from her than a possible appearance on Glee?
According to sources, the Academy Award winner may guest on not one, but two, episodes during November sweeps. It’s a role was specifically written for her by show creator and friend Ryan Murphy.

If the rumors are true, Gwyneth would play a replacement of sorts for both Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays). When Mr. Schuester falls ill, Paltrow’s substitute teacher character steps in. Fortunately for the glee club, the students like her work. Unfortunately for Ms. Pillsbury, Will admires her, too.
Gwyneth’s proposed appearances would, of course, be timed nicely with her upcoming movie. Country Strong, a film about a troubled country musician, is scheduled to open on December 22 – just weeks after her guest spot.
