Golden Globes: Who Wins the Best Dressed Award?
Not everyone was able to walk away a winner at last night’s Golden Globes, but some stand out whether or not they received a statue. Some of the Hollywood elite looked like winners…while others, I wish I didn’t have to look at through the night at all.
All the results are in and the victories are tallied - but one. When it comes to last night’s Golden Globes, who wins the best dressed award?

Jennifer Lopez, always a fan of daring fashion, managed to pull off her seductive gown with elegance. She was both sexy and glam in her shimming gold gown, which featured a bold V-neck design.
Brad and Angelina, among the country’s most talked-about stars, were glamorous and gorgeous as usual. Brad Pitt wore a classic black tux, while Angelina Jolie chose a pale silver frock with spaghetti straps. Though the fabric was beautiful and Angie looked sensational, I do wish this gown did a little more for her stunning figure - you can barely tell she’s under there.
Another Hollywood power couple, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, arrived on the scene all smiles. Ashton looked far too messy and unshaven (and he has definitely grown out of the “I’m so cool and sexy, I just don’t care” look), but Demi was fabulous in a pale pink dress with her long locks hanging free.
Penelope Cruz was also a vision in pale pink, truly a stunning site in a strapless sheath. Her Bandidas co-star Selma Hayek wore a perfect white gown that was totally spoiled by her absolutely eye-popping cleavage. A little more fabric up front would have served her style well - and would have made the red carpet walk much more family-friendly.
Drew Barrymore, true Hollywood royalty, was a princess for the evening in a delightful pale blue, full-length gown. Her Marilyn-esque hairstyle and totally glam look made her look like what she is - a true movie queen.
Lovely Renee Zellweger was a complete and total mess in a long black gown that featured a see-through chest. Her overdone ‘do and ruffled skirt were completely at odds with that shocking frontal vision. Heidi Klum was another complete disaster in black, this gown polka-dotted and styled after a retro ‘50s look. The huge red flower at her waist was the final horrible touch.
Kate Winslet, whose beautiful acceptance speech melted hearts, was nothing short of stunning in a silky black gown that complemented her curves. Even this incredibly elegant look was outdone, however, by one Beyonce Knowles. The singer/movie star was divine from head to toe in a white, strapless frock that showed off just enough cleavage and leg to help her steal the fashion show.

A dizzying, delightful spectacle situated on the Subcontinent which is well worth the investment for the kaleidoscope of colors splashed across the screen alone.
