You don’t have to be religious to enjoy the holiday season … but you do have to like music to really appreciate the way Glee is going to celebrate it.

The FOX series will lead us into a new year with a new album release, another themed episode … and maybe even a brand-new couple to follow. Keep reading to find out what we know...

First, the bad news. Rachel and Puck will not be getting together any time soon, though it isn’t because Mark Salling is leaving the show as some have feared. Despite the fan support for Puckleberry, the Glee writers don’t plan to pursue that story in the near future -- but romance is still in the air at the halls of William McKinley High.

We’ve got it on good authority that Chris Colfer and Darren Criss will croon “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” together. The content of the song might suggest that sparks could be flying between them … or maybe, it’s just a bad song selection. We won’t have to wait too long to find out.

Glee is also planning a holiday episode, which will air on December 7. The show will release a companion album on November 16, well in time for the shopping season.
