Giuliana Rancic Will Televise Baby’s Birth
Giuliana Rancic will broadcast the birth of her baby boy on her reality show.
The E! News anchor and her husband Bill Rancic welcomed their first child, Edward Duke Rancic, into the world via gestational surrogate last month in Denver, Colorado, and the brunette beauty has decided to share his intimate arrival on the new season of their reality show Giuliana and Bill.
"This is our sixth season and people have followed our story for years. To have people praying for you and supporting you and wanting the best for you and wanting you to have this baby so badly, and then to say, 'Thanks for all your prayers, thanks for your support, we're not showing the baby.' That's wrong," she said.
The couple originally said they wanted his birth to be private but have now decided to follow in the footsteps of Kourtney Kardashian by including their home video camera footage of his birth in their show.
The couple - who tied the knot in September 2007 - struggled to conceive for four years and during Giuliana's third attempt to get pregnant through IVF her doctor discovered she had breast cancer. But she is now cancer-free following a double mastectomy.
Giuliana took three months maternity leave but returned to work briefly to host E!'s red carpet coverage from the Primetime Emmy Awards and Fashion Police in Los Angeles last week.
