First Look: Kanye West on The Cleveland Show
This time, Kanye West is in on the joke. (I think.)
The rapper who failed to understand a “fish sticks” joke on South Park last year, will now be contributing his own voice to an upcoming episode of The Cleveland Show.
In the broadcast to air on May 2, Kanye (a.k.a Kenny West) gets into a rap battle with Cleveland Brown Jr. Of course, there is a girl (Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson) at the center of all of this.

West, who has publicly acknowledged being a follower of Family Guy, happily accepted the invite to appear on that comedy’s spin-off. “In the writers’ room, we just thought it would be great to have him as a character on the town. So we came up with the story. He really liked it and said, ‘Sure!’” Rich Appel, Cleveland‘s co-creator said.
Apparently the collaboration went so well, the artist has already recorded additional scenes that will air in Season 2.
