A few years ago, some might have said that Betty White reached her heyday on Golden Girls, but these days the octogenarian’s star is shining brighter than ever. She recently received a lifetime achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild, and gained even more notice when she starred in a recent (hilarious) Super Bowl commercial.

Now, Facebook users are urging Saturday Night Live to put White’s comedic chops to good use - they’ve started a fan campaign to show their desire to see her host the famed late-night variety show. Nearly 200,000 fans have answered the call, and more are joining the effort every day.

Betty White, who is not behind the page’s creation, has offered no comments to the press thus far.
