Donald Trump Fields Khloe Kardashian Flak

New Yorker and Georgi Vodka head Martin Silver held a well-publicized news conference today in response to Donald Trump’s actions on The Celebrity Apprentice, specifically in relation to Khloe Kardashian.
It was a very clever stunt.
Georgi Vodka, highly popular in state, is a direct competitor to Trump Vodka. This is relevant to Celebrity Apprentice only in that Khloe Kardashian was fired from the show for a previous DUI conviction. “Everyone makes mistakes. If you sell spirits, why would you fire somebody who could have been a customer of Trump Vodka the night she was pulled over?” Silver demanded through Page Six, New York’s famed gossip column.
Martin Silver further offered Kardashian a job in his company, seeing as how she got fired by Trump. That’s really nice considering the recession and all, but I really don’t think she’s interested unless Silver can offer up cameras and a viewing audience to go with.
Donald Trump neatly turned aside the criticism with a statement he offered in response. “It just shows how well Trump Vodka is doing. In fact, it is setting records. I’m very comfortable with my decision to fire Khloe and find it pathetic that a competitor has to stoop so low.”

This is one of those ideas that make you wonder what they're thinking. Do people really want to watch celebrities compete in tasks for Donald Trump when they really don't need the money, job, or exposure? I'd be shocked if any A-list celebrity committed to participating, but I suspect charity will be involved, as well as some level of pampering or exotic locale.
