Dexter’s Season 7 Trailer Unveiled
Showtime released the trailer for Dexter's upcoming season seven, which undeniably left fans meticulously analyzing its frames.
With all eyes on the brother-sister/lieutenant-criminal relationship between Michael C. Hall's Dexter and Jennifer Carpenter's Deb, little room was left for the rest of the characters, leaving Quinn (Desmond Harrington) and Batista (David Zayas) completely out of the trailer and the new possible baddie, Louis Greene (Josh Cooke), with a mere couple shots.
(Possible spoliers for those who haven't seen season six after the jump)

While we all knew that Deb was going had to eventually meet Dexter's dark passenger, her discovery in the penultimate season of the series makes me feel (as the trailer wants one to) as though she won't make it through this one. Then again, Deb is one of the show's favorites... Can they just kill Quinn off to appease the fans in the ritualistic sacrifice of a series regular?
All I can say for sure is that with Louis around, Deb facing an internal battle, and Miami Metro closing in on Dexter (not unlike season two), I just hope the show doesn't try to manage as many plot lines as True Blood has been doing lately.
Season seven of Dexter premieres on Showtime on September 30.
