Conan O’Brien Announces Tour Dates Via Twitter
UPDATE: “Good news: Just added second shows in San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and LA. Bad news: Still no show in Guam.”
Team Coco - it’s time to celebrate. Conan O’Brien is hitting the road.
What was rumored about a few weeks ago was confirmed this morning from the star’s own Twitter account.
“Hey Internet: I’m headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. Go to http://TeamCoco.com for tix. I repeat: It’s half-assed,” Conan tweeted.
The name of this comedic event? “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.” Nice.

Since this morning’s announcement, additional dates have been added to accomodate the demand. “We are now adding a second show in both NYC & Chicago. For that second show, I’ll be doing all Liza Minnelli songs,” O’Brien claimed.
The cross country tour is currently scheduled to kick off April 12 in Eugene, OR and wind down June 14 in Atlanta. Those able to snag seats have been promised an evening of “music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”
