Best and Worst of 2009 Television: Emmy Fashion Highlights
We know who won the awards for best drama series, miniseries, variety show, dramatic actress…all of that. But who wins the title of Best Dressed at the 2009 Emmy Awards? For the best and worst of television fashion, the red carpet is the only place to look.

Blake Lively was both sexy and glamorous in this floor-length, exaggerated V-neck number in bright red. The dress is great and Lively’s got the figure for it, but this frock looks more suited to a cougar than a young Gossip Girl.
Kyra Sedgwick looked a little washed-out in this pink garment, which was oddly adorned with little doodads from stem to stern. The big bow at the shoulder isn’t even the worst of it - why did she wear those shoes?
Comedy star Julia Louis-Dreyfus was elegant and age-appropriate in this flowing, dark blue job that was a perfect choice for any red carpet event.
Jenna Fischer’s look was certainly not Office attire, but she made herself almost unrecognizable with that upswept ‘do and ill-fitting frock of hers. It’s too long and loose at the bottom, too short and tight at the top and so many miles of bare shoulder beg for some sort of necklace.
