Another Epic SNL F-Bomb Moment


Today, everyone’s talking about an . It is amazing that such a thing could happen in today’s times of extreme FCC regulation. But here’s the thing: it’s happened before. When it’s live TV, bloopers of all kinds are going to happen. For those who remember seeing John Belushi tear up the set, Jimmy Fallon breaking up into giggles in almost every skit he was in and Eddie Murphy quickly glossing over a flub while he played a black activist, an SNL mistake is just more entertainment.

Until it crosses over into plain bad taste. may have made waves with her accidental slip Saturday night…but it certainly wasn’t the first time SNL has dropped the bomb. In 1980, Charles Rocket let the word slip following a Dallas parody skit wherein he got shot. The best part of the clip above is Charlene Tilton’s reaction to the bombshell. Rocket served as a cast member for the 1980-81 season, losing his position on the show shortly after he let the word slip.
