Abdul and Jackson: Duet of a Lifetime?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, Sports, FOX, American Idol, Gossip, Rumors,
Last season’s slipping ratings and lackluster enthusiasm from the press aren’t helping FOX’s American Idol remain the King of All TV, reality or otherwise. Time for Plan B.
In this case, it’s Idol judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. Insiders say the pair are planning a duet not for the Idol stage, but for a much larger one: the Super Bowl. Tom Petty is already set to headline the halftime show, with other artists being added to the mix before the programming is all said and done.
Abdul hasn’t released an album since 1995, and has not publicly performed to such a large audience in several years.
