ABC Moving Forward with Charlie’s Angels Reboot
What was rumored about over a year ago is now coming to fruition (as if there was any doubt).
A Miami-set version of Charlie's Angels has now reached pilot stage for ABC. The reboot of the classic series will be handled by two of the producers from the movie installments (Drew Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen) and Leonard Goldberg.
Smallville creators/executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar will also share producing duties.
No actresses have yet been tapped for the update, but Gossip Girl's Mark Piznarski is being considered as a possible director.

Although some may be skeptical about seeing three new Angels, one person has already expressed her support for the project.
"I think it's great," Lucy Liu, who played Alex Munday in the big screen versions, said last month. "I think people should love it, and I think they should have adventures every week and people should turn in. And there should be three different girls that do it, and after that three other girls."
"There's something about Charlies Angels which is very iconic and people want to see it live on," Liu added.
What do you think of her comments? Would you rather see the series live on --- or rest peacefully?
