90210 returns to the CW this fall with the Season 3 premiere, scheduled for September 13. New spoilers have revealed that Adrian Grenier (Entourage) will appear on the September 27 episode with his band The Honey Brothers. The episode will center around Naomi Campbell (AnnaLynne McCord), who will be celebrating her 18th birthday.

Earlier in the year, 90210 revealed that one of its main hunks will come to terms with his homosexuality in the upcoming season. We know who it is, and we’ll reveal the name after the jump…

Entertainment Weekly reports that Teddy Montgomery (Trevor Donovan) will come out of the closet this season. Donovan recently posted a long tweet to fans which reveals that he’s given the storyline considerable thought:

“I read all your tweets and know you are all curious about the ‘gay’ character this season. Let me say, gay or straight, relationships are relationships. Everyone goes through the same kind of troubles and joys. A gay storyline will have an added issue of dealing with judgment from others. Acceptance, by family, friends, society, and self is just one of the concerns the character will be going through. It is a part of life, and it should be portrayed. I was told, and am confident, [that] the storyline will be written very well and the change in the character will be organic, NOT overnight. It’s going to be a great season 3. I look forward to chatting with you all as we progress.”
