Monday Ratings: NBC Wins Without Olympics

Now that the Olympics are over, we’ve finally been given a reason to start looking at the other networks’ numbers. The funny thing is: NBC wound up winning Monday night anyway.
8pm
- Deal or No Deal‘s premiere had 10.9 million (2.8/8 in 18-49) playing along.
- The Big Bang Theory* (1.8/6) and How I Met Your Mother* (2.1/6) both coughed up 5.5 million.
- The Prison Break* drew in 4.1 million (1.6/4).
- High School Musical: Get in the Picture (0.8/3) entertained 2.6 million.
- Gossip Girl* (0.6/2) saw 1.4 million tune in.
Hollywood Reporter
9pm
- Two and a Half Men* (8.9 million, 2.9/8 in 18-49) had the night’s best demos.
- The debut of America’s Toughest Jobs (7.5 million, 2.6/7) had a decent start.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine* (6.5 million, 2.2/6) lost part of its lead-in.
- A Samantha Who?* block (0.8/2) pitched in 2.2 million.
- One Tree Hill* (0.7/2) lingered behind with 1.4 million.
10pm
- NBC‘s coverage of the Democratic National Convention (0.9/3 in 18-49) pulled in
3.54.8 million. - ABC‘s DNC coverage (0.8/2) scored 3.8 million.
- CBS‘s political hour (0.9/3) had 3.5 million watching.
