Keri Russell is the new face of CoverGirl. This summer, the former star of Felicity will appear in commercials and print ads for CoverGirl’s Outlast Double Lipshine.

Russell, who recently appeared in Mission: Impossible III, describes the commercial - in which she fights a group of ninjas - as a “mini action movie”.

With the exception of promoting her roles on TV and film, this is only the second time, the actress has appeared in a commerical. She got her start on MMC: The All New Mickey Mouse Club in the 80’s and 90’s.  You may have also recently seen her in The Upside of Anger or the mini-series Into the West.

Now Russell, 30, joins the ranks of pretty faces such as Christie Brinkley and Queen Latifah. Up next for Russell are two new films: Waitress and August Rush with Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Terrence Howard.
