Jason Mesnick Named ABC’s Next Bachelor
Who knows? Maybe the 13th time’s a charm?
Despite a humiliating experience just last month, The Bachelorette‘s Jason Mesnick is determined to try again.
In July’s finale of the reality dating show, the single father from Seattle made himself vulnerable when he got down on one knee before millions of viewers. Unfortunately, DeAnna Pappas shocked many when she ultimately chose skateboarder Jesse Csincsak over the 32-year-old divorcé.

ABC, realizing they could once again recycle a contestant from a previous installment, decided to choose the handsome account executive for their next season of The Bachelor. Mesnick will now be adding his name to a list of other two-time participants. That list also includes Trista Rehn, Bob Guiney, Meredith Phillips…and DeAnna Pappas.
In their release, the network says the sports-lover is looking “for a woman who has a real curiosity about the world, who loves life and can find passion in life’s smallest moments.”
Do you think you should be one of those 25 potential ladies? If so, you can find more information on the application process here.
The Bachelor‘s 13th installment will premiere in January 2009.
