College Students Gain Control Of Television Programming
Nestled within the most desired of all age demographics, college students should certainly have a say in which television shows are winners, and which are the stinkers. So why did it take so long for Nielsen Media Research to acknowledge this? This data-collection corporation is responsible for the ratings placement of your favorite shows, and usually provides the ammunition to either renew a series, or cancel it. Now college students have the power. How fun will that be?
Enjoy it, students, but maybe you could bypass those endless Real World/Road Rules obstacle course competition shows, just for us? We’re sick of seeing forty-year-olds from the first season engage in drunken brawls.
Thanks!
