‘Buffy’ Writer Returns To Television
Fans still mourn the loss of the beloved supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer. With its appealing stars and standout writing, it’s no wonder the show developed such a rabid fan base. Buffy fans can rejoice: one of the show’s primary writers is returning to television.
Writer Marti Noxon has been serving as a producer—most recently as a producer of Prison Break—since she left Buffy and its spin-off, Angel. Now, she’s returning to her roots with the new show Brothers and Sisters. Noxon will be producing the show, as well as pitching in on the scripts. The show will star Calista Flockhart and Rachel Griffiths, and is described as a family soap opera full of drama. If anyone knows how to write and produce good drama, it’s Noxon.
Unfortunately for fans, Noxon has confirmed that her vampire writing days are over. But on the bright side, it will be a treat to see what she cooks up next. Will you be tuning in?
