Gary Kubiak is going to have his hands full in the AFC South with Indianapolis, Jacksonville, and Tennessee in the same division.  Last season the Texans went 0-6 versus division opponents.  Kubiak has made a name for himself as a Denver Broncos backup quarterback and has been the offensive coordinator since 1994.

This move may lead to a round of musical chairs, as New York Jets offensive coordinator has been eyeing the now vacant Denver coordinator role.  The Jets who are now on the search for both offensive and defensive coordinators, have listed Chris Palmer (Houston Texans), Mike Shephard (New Orleans Saints) or Steve Fairchild (St. Louis Rams) as potential candidates.
