Knicks Continue Embarrasing Season With Loss to Kings

The Knicks have nothing to play for in the 2007-2008 season, and their only 31 games into the season.

Tonight the Knicks lost 107-97, at a few points losing by 21. The Kings scored 35 points in the third quarter, Knicks Head Coach Isiah Thomas was frequently hearing boos from the fans in attendance. With the loss the Knicks are 8-23, and remain in 5th place in the Atlantic Division. John Salmons led the Kings with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. He also had 6 steals. The loss may be considered especially embarrassing for the Knicks because the Kings were missing Mike Bibby, Kenyon Martin and Ron Artest from their lineup.

I’d say that Isiah Thomas was close to losing his job, but at this point if he hasn’t when will he? He’s done nothing positive for the team, whether it be on the court semantics or losing the company 12 million dollars in a sexual harassment lawsuit the face of this franchise has become an embarrassment. The Knicks need to rebuild, this season is already lost they may as well start the rookies and look forward to the future.
