Lebron James Forgets How to Pass

Lebron James giving the DDP signSome suggest calling this style of play the North Carolina two-guard disease.  It only applied to Michael Jordan and Vince Carter, and it is not as common as Marbury-itis, but at least these guys had some valid excuses.  Jordan took some major punishment going to the rack earlier in his career, especially from the Pistons.  Those guys purposely funneled him into the hole just to foul the guy.  Jordan eventually developed an awesome fade-away shot and the rest is history.  Carter had some nagging injuries that made him leery to go to the basket, and admitted he wasn’t playing 100% for the Toronto Raptors.  Now he is rejuvenated in New Jersey back to making fantastic dunks and all kinds of circus shots.

This leads me to this question.  What happened to Lebron James?  Sure he has great stats and the Cavs are doing ok, but wow, he sure is jacking up a lot of outside shots and now isn’t really the passing threat he used to be.  James has only been in the league for 2+ seasons, don’t tell me he is already losing some steam in taking it to the hole. I’m sure James is going to turn out just fine.  Oh Lebron, by the way, what was up with your Diamond Dallas Page hand signal you were giving out at the all-star game about?
