Cleveland Cavaliers Guard Larry Hughes Still Out with Finger Injury
Sorry to dampen the mood Cavs fans, especially after the impressive wins over the defending NBA champs San Antonio Spurs. Looks like if the Cavs are going to make the post-season this year, it will be without arguably their second best player in Larry Hughes. Hughes was supposed to come back from a broken right middle finger. Hughes cashed in during last summer’s free agent market with a five-year, $60 million contract. This move was to entice mega-star Lebron James to stay in Cleveland instead of testing the waters of free agency himself when the time comes. Look for rumors to swirl around PF Drew Gooden once again, since the Cavs may now look to add another scoring threat or PG.
