Chase Utley Watch: Move On, Nothing To See Here
It had to end sometime. Against the N.L. leading New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies 2B Chase Utley saw his consecutive game hitting streak end at 35, which tied for tenth best ever in MLB history. Utley went 0-for-5 for the night, striking out twice, flying out twice, and grounding out once. As a small consolation, the Phillies beat the Mets 5-3 to move one game closer to the division leaders. They are now 11.0 games behind the Mets and have two more games to creep into a single digit deficit. Congratulations on the run, Chase.
