Bartolo Colon Probably Done For The Season

Bartolo Colon injured againLos Angeles Angels SP Bartolo Colon, last season’s A.L. Cy Young winner, has a rotator cuff problem that will need to be fixed, either by aggressive rehabilitation or the dreaded “S” word - surgery.  In either case, the 33-year-old Colon will need to do something and it’s probably going to have to be next season considering his recent injury history.  Colon was on the D.L. for two months earlier in the season from April 19 - June 17 with inflammation in his throwing shoulder and just recently went back on it with tendinitis in his triceps.  In only 10 starts, Colon is 1-5 with a 5.11 ERA.
