Jason McElwain, a 17-year old senior from Greece Athena High School, scored 20 points in four minutes, including 6 3-pointers.  McElwain, who is the team manager, suited up for the teams home finale for a division title.  After the Rochester high school team was well ahead in the score, McElwain entered the game.  McElwain’s magical night is a heart-warming story considering the hardships he endured, such as not being able to speak until the age of 5.  Team coach Jim Johnson said: “It was as touching as any moment I have ever had in sports,”.  McElwain was carried off the court by his teammates on their shoulders.
