Secret Service Agent Says “Kill Him” Allegatons Not True

“Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment.”
The agent in charge of the Secret Service at the Sarah Palin rally, says that the New York Times report about someone yelling “kill him” is unfounded. Think about it. Barack Obama is the Democratic Candidate for President Of The United States. If someone shouted “kill him,” you sure as hell know that someone’s going to be in a lot of trouble.

On Wednesday’s, “Morning Joe,” a show hosted by Joe Scarborough, Senator John McCain’s senior strategist, Nicole Wallace, claimed that McCain’s campaign had lost the spin war.
“The truth is they play dirty politics … we certainly lost the spin war about his fighting a more negative campaign. The truth is that Barack Obama has spent more money on negative attack ads against John McCain than any politician, Democrat or Republican, in history.”

According to an ABC News Political Correspondent, Democratic Presidential Candidate, Barack Obama’s debate talking points were, “accidentally sent to the press this morning.”
Tonight’s Presidential Debate between Obama and Republican Candidate John McCain is set for 9PM EST at Hofstra University in New York. It will be moderated by Bob Schieffer, CBS News chief Washington correspondent and host of “Face the Nation.” The debate will be ninety minutes, divided into eight 10-minute segments. Candidates will be seated at a table with the moderator, who will introduce a new issue to start a segment. Candidates will be able to respond to the moderator, and then directly to each other.

McCain Team Member Tried To Stop Sanctions Against Saddam Hussein

A new article in the Huffington Post states, “William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.”

On their website, it says the Annenberg Foundation strives to advance public well-being through improved communications. It’s basically a big, non-profit, community organization foundation. Is anyone aware that factcheck.org is run by The Annenberg Foundation? Why should you be concerned about this?
In 1995, current Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama was appointed Board Chairman and President of the Annenberg Chicago Challenge, a branch of the Annenberg Foundation. Unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist, William Ayers co-chaired the Chicago Annenberg Collaborative, which set education policy for the Challenge. Obama was authorized to delegate to the Collaborative the development of collaborative projects and programs. Obama had to obtain assistance of the Collaborative in the development of requests for proposals. Obama had to seek advice from the Collaborative regarding the programmatic aspects of grant proposals. Obama and Ayers, sat together on the board’s Governance Committee, and were part of a group of four instructed to draft the bylaws that would govern Chicago Annenberg Collaborative.

The Great Depression was brought about as a result of monetary inflation (68%) from 1921-1928. (See: What is the Federal Reserve Doing?) There were other factors involved, but this was the primary factor. This was mostly the result of “easy credit” (a recurring theme isn’t it?). Credit expansion, as we have seen again, leads to malinvestment. John Maynard Keynes, the father of Keynesian Economics, called Federal Reserve policy (1921-1928) a triumph in currency management. Hey, good call John! It’s amazing that Keynesian Economics is still with us.
The inflation fueled boom and resulting depression are often blamed on Herbert Hoover and his laissez-faire policies. Nothing could be further from the truth and we need to look no further than Hoover’s words from the 1932 presidential campaign.
“We might have done nothing. That would have been utter ruin. Instead we met the situation with proposals to private business and to Congress of the most gigantic program of economic defense and counterattack ever evolved in the history of the Republic.”

Social Security (SS) is called the third rail of American Politics; when, in truth, it’s just a third rail period! Within the next ten years outlays for Social Security will exceed incoming revenue from SS taxes and things get really interesting. Now, you may be saying, what about all the money in the SS Trust Fund? Well, my friends, it’s time for a little truth about Social Security.
Since its inception, Social Security has generated an annual surplus; this means that after paying out current benefits, there is money left over. What happens to this money? It goes into the general fund (the same place the rest of your taxes go) and is spent on other programs. When the government spends the Social Security surplus it prints Treasury bond certificates equal to the amount that went into the general fund. Normally, Treasury bonds are sold on the open market. Again these are the same instruments that China has purchased, and the same bonds now being swapped for stocks and bonds in the current bailout. (See “Big Trouble in Little Washington”) The Treasury bonds printed for Social Security however, are quite different. By law they cannot be sold on the open market, they are stored in a vault in West Virginia. Had these bonds been sold on the market, they would have been inflationary (increasing the money supply) just like regular Treasury bonds.
