Apple OS X 10.11 El Capitan now available, here’s what’s new!

Apple has released OS X 10.11 El Capitan to the public, and all users with compatible Macs are able to download the updated version of Apple’s desktop operating system for free from the Mac App Store. Just launch the Mac App Store to grab the download, or if you don’t see it, you can use this link to take you right to it: OS X El Capitan

Unboxing Live 172: Apple Watch Sport Gold & Rose Gold

Apple just announced two new colors for the Apple Watch Sport line - gold and rose gold! Being Apple Watch Sport models, that means that these are made out of 7000 Series aluminum, not actual gold. This is similar to the gold and rose gold iPhone. The gold aluminum color has proven to be very popular for Apple on its iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple also released its new MacBook laptop in a gold color as well.

In this video we open up the 42mm gold Apple Watch with midnight blue Sport Band, as well as the 38mm rose gold Apple Watch with lavender Sport Band, giving you a look at both options.

Unboxing Live 171: Apple TV with Siri Remote

Apple announced the brand new Apple TV with Siri Remote at its latest event on September 9. I was able to get my hands on a unit that day, and bring you the first unboxing of the new 2015 model Apple TV. As you can see, the Siri Remote control is made of metal and looks nice up close. The hardware buttons will make it less frustrating to use for sure. The Apple TV device itself looks similar to the previous 2012 and 2013 models, just a little bit thicker.
