SB Combo Bar With Thermometer

SB Bar The SB Combo Bar combines a card reader that supports MS Duo, SDHC, SD, MicroSD and M2 without adapters, a 90º, twistable 3 port hub and a thermometer that displays temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. At a size of 100 x 32 x 32mm, it has a blue LED indicator and connects to your USB port. While we are not sure why the thermometer was added into the device, it certainly doesn’t hurt. The bar comes with an extension cable and a price of $15.50.

The 3-button Scope Node M-SN1UL is certainly high end with a 1600dpi laser sensor that is off-center to simulate where a pen point would be located in your hand. The USB mouse is compatible with both Windows and Mac. Available in black, mat silver or glossy silver, expect a price of ¥6,000 (~$61.00.)

Test Drive Speed with Check Flash

Check Flash Screen Russian software hobbyist Cherkes Mihail has devised Check Flash. This free program can be downloaded so that you can test the speed of your current flash drive or others and format them if you wish. It is not necessary to use an empty drive although some of the tests will blank them, so the creator has kindly included the ability to pass command line switches and allow batch processing. Microsoft has unveiled a Notebook Cooling Base with flip-up stand, a first for the company. Only 1.16-inches thick, it is curved so that it will fit on a desk or lap if adjusted 90º. The USB-powered fan has a built-in height adjustment, comes in black and white, and is lightweight and compact at a size of 11.4 x 11.4-inch. It should be out around November at a price of about $30.00.

How literally and figuratively green is this? The device is both a re-chargeable battery and USB charger. The single pack comes with one battery and charger for £17.95 (~$ 25.00.) The double pack includes a double charger and two batteries for £24.95 (~$35.00) and will fit into one USB port. The description doesn’t say how long a charge takes or how long the batteries will last, but hey, you always have an extra port, don’t you?

GE Waterproof G3WP Camera

The G3WP has a 4x digital zoom, a 12.2 megapixel resolution, a 2.7-inch automatically adjusting LCD display and support for up to ISO 3200. It also features Pan-Capture Panorama, Auto Scene, Blink, Face and Smile detection and red eye removal. The G3WP will be available in red, black or gray and comes with Li-ion battery and charger, AV and USB cables, editing software and wrist strap.
