It’s Over for Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo

Well, it’s like they say—misery loves company.

Less than a month ago, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo ended their relationship. Now, Jessica Simpson and her Dallas Cowboy are (finally?) over as well.

According to reports, Tony Romo recently gave the singer the worst gift birthday gift ever. He decided to dump Simpson the night before she was to celebrate her 29th. (A Ken and Barbie-themed party was canceled as a result of the break-up.) The quarterback was later seen partying on the eve of the planned bash.

“They go from one fight right into another, without a second break,” a source told Us Magazine. “It’s always something with Jessica.”

Mariah Carey Apologizes for Jackson Memorial Performance

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos,

Although Mariah Carey’s original performance of “I’ll Be There” was unplugged, yesterday’s shaky attempt had some searching for plugs. And don’t think she didn’t know it.

Hours after Michael Jackson’s memorial service, the singer turned to Twitter to apologize to her fans.

“Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me. One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people he inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts.”

Alright. We forgive you.

TweetReel

It was only a matter of time for an app to catch up for our burning desire to share our lives on the internet –mainly Twitter. Tweet Reel is a new app for the iPhone 3GS with allows you to upload videos and pictures to Tweet Reel, and share them directly on Twitter. Personally, I have always used Flickr over Twitpic (specially now with Twitter integration), but Flickr seems to be having a hard time catching up to apps and other social media integration tools. Tweet Reel is available for $2.99 in the App Store and if you are looking to share more than just images, Tweet Reel will get the job done.

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Culture, MMORPG, PC,

TweetCraft brings two obsessive habits together, allowing you to do both at once. That’s right, my addicted friends, you can now follow your Twitter friends (like us!) while you play World of Warcraft, thanks to a handy little tool called Tweetcraft. Tweetcraft is an in-game Twitter client that lets you tweet while playing. You can also upload screenshots, and have it send out tweets when you log in to the game, enter an instance, or get an achievement. Yeah, so, it’s pretty much a must-have if you are a World of Warcraft-addicted Twitter fanatic. Hit the video above for more on how it all looks and works.

Lindsay Lohan on Reality TV?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, Gossip, Rumors,

Lindsay LohanAccording to TMZ, former movie star may be setting her sights on reality TV…with a little help from industry mogul Ryan Seacrest. The American Idol host has turned reality TV into a personal empire, and now it seems he would welcome Lohan into the successful fold.

Seacrest twittered recently that he “Met with lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her..it helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together.” Lindsay also offered up a message, which begins with “Working on a really great project for television- I am excited!” Rumor says that money, the figure $1 million has been tossed around, will be offered to help these people affect a change.

So, here’s the million-dollar question: which network will be brave enough to take on a Lohan-centric project? None of the movie studios seem willing to do it, and everybody answers to somebody…so we’ll see.
