Mama Lohan: I Had No Choice

The Other Lohans: Ali and DinaDid someone at E! have Dina Lohan at gunpoint? Nah, that’s just her being her usual fame-hungry, greedy self.

Unfortunately, I just had more to add to this upcoming debacle in addition to her soon-to-be-reality-star daughter’s ridiculous age. According to PageSix.com, the former Rockette and mother of four told them that they had “no choice” but to do the reality show. “Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who is as a person, it’s better.”

Good news for those that are actually fans of that other . Dina revealed that her redheaded daughter will be making cameos on the show, but it will definitely be all about Ali: “Lindsay has her own career. It’s about Ali.”

SATC Scandal: Charlotte, Say It Isn’t So

Kristin DavisA single photo, a brief article, and suddenly the SATC has hit the fan. One journalist is reporting that a pornographic tape of Sexy star Kristin Davis (who plays Charlotte in the franchise) not only exists, but is currently being shopped around for a buyer. With enough money, anyone can own the tape which will soon (purportedly) be making the rounds on the Internet. If such a tape exists.

Here are the facts of the story, things I’ve seen with my own eyes: One, the article talking about the tape does exist. Two, there is a photograph of a woman who looks exceedingly like Davis in a sexually explicit pose with an unknown gentleman. Three, Kristin Davis denies everything. One of her reps had this to say: “This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape.”

This is not impossible to believe, and I’ll tell you why. There are people in the world who look like other people - whether through accident or design. In fact, there’s an entire TV show based on the concept of “ordinary” people who just happen to look like celebs. But, I will also say this - I’ve personally seen the photo, and it looks like her. A lot. For what it’s worth.

Patrick Swayze Still Smoking Despite Cancer

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Photos, Editorials,

Although I first saw this photo last week, I have grown increasingly more angry over the past few days.  Please someone tell me—why is still smoking?

Even though the actor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late January, this picture of him lighting up was taken just seven days ago.  Smoking is believed to be one of the possible risk factors behind the disease.

Patrick Swayze

Let’s hope Swayze is really doing all he can to fight this illness.

This Week on TV (3/17-3/23)

How I Met Your Mother

(You can view TV Envy’s Post-Strike Television Schedule here.)

MONDAY (3/17)
  • Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm):  Tonight’s Season 6 premiere focuses only on the men.  I think it’s safe to say Julianne Hough won’t be making it a three-peat with .
  • The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8pm):  New episode.  “Sheldon and Leonard are asked to a physics conference to present their work together.”  I’ve always wondered - if this show were to air on any other day, would it be half as successful?
  • How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30):  New episode.  “Ted decides to live life like Barney on St. Patrick’s Day.”  You don’t want to know what they use as their lucky charms.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm):  New episode.  “Charlie teaches Alan how to break up with a woman.”  I hear hiring prostitutes can make a woman leave you.
  • The Bachelor (ABC, 9:30):  Season 12 premiere.  “Bachelor Matt Grant, a 27-year-old British financier, meets his 25 would-be soul mates.”  Apparently in America, you can finally afford to woo twice as many women as you can in the UK.

Survivor Micronesia: It Hit Everyone Pretty Hard!

Survivor Micronesia

Tonight’s episode of really gave us an idea of how the game can take a toll on competitors physically.  It also shone a light on the survivors’ true characters.  How badly did they want to win the million dollars?  What were their breaking points?  How fairly did they like to see their fellow challengers treated?

Although most of the Malakal tribal members were happy with Joel’s elimination, Erik was left stunned by the events at Tribal Council.  He finally realized that the Favorites were not ones to be trusted and knew that it was important to make a move soon.  Even though she was integral in the firefighter’s dismissal, Tracy was still bothered by her status in the game.  Keeping Chet around really didn’t help with the numbers; the Fans were still down 3 to 4.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10: Where’s the Beef?

ANTM logo

Yesterday’s episode of ran the gamut of cringe-inducing moments.  We had the girl who thinks she’s so smart but makes idiotic mistakes; the girl who came back from the dead and is now cockier than ever; the free-spirited girl who makes the driven ones feel uncomfortable; and the girl full of potential who doesn’t know how to model.

The Incredible Hulk Trailer

.  This is the movie that’s supposed to make us forget about Ang Lee’s 2003 mistake called Hulk

Unfortunately, I just found myself giggling after I saw the big, cheesy reveal.

Question is:  Could they have possibly made the green guy look better?  After seeing movies like , have we come to expect too much from our ‘monsters’?

The Incredible Hulk comes to life this summer on June 13.
