Mariah Carey to Become US X Factor Judge?

“Mariah Carey would be an amazing addition to the US show,” Simon Cowell told reporters recently when discussing his tateside version of The X Factor. “And she’s exactly the right caliber of star that we want for the show.”

Which means, American audiences know who she is. Cowell has been hoping to bring Cheryl Cole, a judge on the British version of the show, to his new X Factor … but US viewers probably won’t recognize her. “I’ve said I’d love Cheryl [Cole] out there, but whether it will happen, who knows?” Cowell told reporters.

If Carey were to join the show, she would be judging alongside Simon Cowell and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.

Matthew Morrison and Cameron Diaz?

Everyone’s favorite Glee club teacher Matthew Morrison and A-list Hollywood hottie Cameron Diaz were seen leaving LA’s Bardot together over the weekend, and everyone’s wondering the same thing: are they a couple?

Morrison was cornered by the press at a recent Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute, and he says that he and the movie star are “just friends.” Hmmm.

But Diaz isn’t the only gorgeous blonde the actor has been palling around with recently.

“Dare I say I have a crush on Gwyneth Paltrow?” he asked reporters. “She’s not like a movie star, she’s just like a normal person. She was so awesome to work with. She’s so talented.”

Morrison also said that Gwyneth sings “like three numbers or something” in her upcoming Glee episode, which airs in November.

Glee Preview: Listen to Rocky Horror Songs

Glee Makes Music with Duets Episode

Glee was little more somber last week, but the show balanced it out with plenty of fun on last night’s “Duets” episode. Not only did we get two Finn and Rachel numbers, we saw sparks fly between a new potential romantic pairing…and, we delved a little deeper into one of our new favorites: Brittany Pearce.
