Unboxing Live 111: Monster DNA White Tuxedo headphones

We open up the Monster DNA White Tuxedo headphones in this episode. On Sunday night Monster and Viacom introduced the latest exclusive Monster DNA headphones color, White Tuxedo, at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. The white tuxedo color features glossy white with black accents on the outside, and black on the ear cups and inner headband of the headphones. It's a fashionable take on the white tuxedo with black tie look, and features all the same Monster DNA headphone features that we already know and love. We are hard at work on our Monster DNA headphones review (it'll appear later roday!), and while putting the headphones through their paces, we snapped a bunch of images of the striking cans. The new White Tuxedo color debuted at the MTV Movie Awards this past weekend where a bunch of stars signed a pair to be auctioned off for charity, and went on sale today at the Apple Store and the Monster Products store. As we mentioned, the new Monster DNA White Tuxedo headphones were unveiled last night during the MTV Movie Awards. Monster had a bunch of movie stars sign the headphones, which will be donated to Jewelry for a Cause to be auctioned. Jewelry for a Cause is a charity dedicated to taking guns off the streets. Last night Monster and Viacom introduced the latest exclusive Monster DNA headphones color, White Tuxedo, at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. The white tuxedo color features glossy white with black accents on the outside, and black on the ear cups and inner headband of the headphones. It's a fashionable take on the white tuxedo with black tie look, and features all the same Monster DNA headphone features that we already know and love--Pure Monster Sound tuned by Monster CEO Noel Lee himself, the Music Link feature that allows you to daisy chain multiple pairs of DNA headphones to each other, allowing the wearers to all hear the same music from a shared audio source.

We got the opportunity to chat with Nick Cannon about the NCredible line of Monster headphones in the video below. The NCredible line includes a pair of over-ear DJ headphones called NPulse, on-ear headphones called NTune, and in-ear earbuds called NErgy. As you look at the cost of the various models, you quickly see that these are some of the most inexpensive headphones offered by Monster, which is important to Cannon, as he wants kids to be able to get headphones that are cool without breaking the bank. Monster Diesel VEKTR on-ears get new Military Green, Chrome color options

Monster announced some new additions to its Diesel VEKTR on-ear headphone line at CES 2013. Being the fashion brand that Diesel is, you can expect a couple of new colors to be added. First, the matte-finish Military Green with gun metal accents. If that's not your thing, there's also the new Chrome VEKTR, with it's eye-catching mirror finish. Both new models will sell for $279.95 when they go on sale later this Spring. If you're looking for something for traditional, a white model just went on sale for $269.95. All of these are in addition to the black Diesel VEKTR that launched last year.

Monster and EA Sports collaborate on MVP Carbon gaming headphones

Monster and EA Sports have jointly announced the MVP Carbon, a pair of gaming headphones, which is a first for Monster. The MVP Carbon headset brings simulated 5.1 surround sound through 30mm drivers. Naturally, you also get an integrated microphone (removable) for chat, and a headphone amplifier that Monster calls the "Gamebox." Sugar Ray Leonard and Xzibit are working with Monster as ambassadors for the MVP Carbon, which go on sale in February for $269.95, and will be available in black and white, with glowing EA Sports logo. The MVP Carbon are compatible with Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, and Wii U.
